We just received a beautiful gift, and are excited to share it with you all!
This Food Forest Infographic is a great tool for presenting the concept of food forestry to new audiences, whether in a personal or professional context. Feel free to use this infographic as you wish, but please give credit to those who worked hard to create it! We love to share but we all love to be recognized as well.
This infographic was created by the very talented Justin Radford as a school design project, and has offered it to Living Landscapes as a gift. He created it working in partnership with Living Landscapes’ own Marc DeMontigny, as well as Kat Zimmer, a Masters in Environmental Studies student at the University of Victoria. Kat is bridging the worlds of academia and permaculture, and is working hard on a research project outlining the value of public food forests to municipalities and institutions. More on this to come!
Click on the link and just scroll down. The journey begins at the canopy of the forest and moves all the way down to the roots, with additional information appearing along the way.
If food forestry appeals to you, please Contact Us. We will be happy answer any questions you have. If you want your very own edible forest garden, we offer professional consultation, design, installation, and education in both urban and farm-scale environments.
Once again, please share this infographic far and wide! It benefits us all. Enjoy!
