We are actively hiring for the following hands-on roles based in Victoria, BC:
Field Operations Lead
Location: Victoria, BC
Schedule: 3–4 days per week to start (initial 3-month trial period)
Transition: Full-time following successful mutual fit
Starting Wage: $28–$35/hour, based on experience
Employment Type: Employee position
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for running field operations across both installation and maintenance projects.
The Field Operations Lead oversees on-site execution, crew coordination, weekly sequencing, material readiness, and day-to-day problem solving. This role protects quality, efficiency, and margin in the field.
The Field Operations Lead is on the tools, growing toward approximately 10–20% coordination and planning responsibilities over time.
Ideal candidates will bring:
• 5+ years of professional landscape, construction, or related field experience
• Strong permaculture, carpentry, or hardscaping experience
• Irrigation familiarity
• Confidence reading plans and executing accurately
• Proven ability to lead crews through example
• Strong troubleshooting ability and sound judgment under pressure
This is not an entry-level position.
Over time, this role will assume full responsibility for day-to-day field leadership.
Landscape Technician
Location: Victoria, BC
Schedule: 2–4 days per week (seasonal variation)
Starting Wage: $25–$27/hour, based on experience
Employment Type: Employee position
This is a professional field role focused primarily on long-term garden maintenance and care, while also supporting installation projects as needed.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Garden maintenance, pruning, and seasonal cleanups
• Plant health observation and site awareness
• Soil building and bed preparation
• Supporting hardscaping, irrigation, and garden carpentry under direction
This is physically demanding outdoor work in varied conditions.
Maintenance experience is a strong asset.
